The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering (TAME) is proud to announce the winners of our 2019 TAME Scholarships.
Every year, TAME awards scholarships to high school senior TAME Club members who have competed in the STEM Competition and who will attend an accredited college or university to study a STEM subject. TAME scholars in their second to fourth year of study in a STEM field at an accredited college or university may also receive Evergreen scholarships based on available funding. Learn more about TAME’s Scholarships.
“When I found out about TAME back in 9th grade, I couldn’t just pass on this opportunity to join,” wrote one scholar. “I have participated in TAME for all four years of my high school experience, and each year brings with it something special and new to my life. Without TAME, I never would have fallen in love with STEM and would have never had the opportunity to find a part of myself.”
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the sponsors of these scholarships for helping TAME Students pursue careers in STEM: ConocoPhillips, Pratt & Whitney, The University of Texas at Austin, Texas Tech University, University of Houston, TAME’s Wichita Falls Chapter, and the Board Members of the Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering.
Join these partners in making a difference. Visit our Get Involved page to see how you can help make sure TAME programs reach more Texas students.
