TAME Student FAQ and Annual Registration – Deadline October 30, 2019
TAME STUDENTS: ANNUAL REGISTRATION
To register as a TAME Student, you must be part of a TAME Club. The Adult Sponsor of your club must complete the Club Registration before students can sign up. When registering online, if you do not see the name of your school or organization listed, talk to your Club Sponsor and make sure they have registered the TAME Club, or they will not be in our system.
TAME students in grades K-5 do not need to complete a Student Registration.
TAME Club Registration and Student Registration usually opens in mid-August and closes by early November. Please check back for updates.
Signing up with TAME is a two-part process. First the sponsor completes the annual Club Registration online or with a printable PDF. Next, the students in their club complete their Student Registration online or with a printable PDF in English or Spanish (the printable forms are typically turned in to the Club Sponsors, who collect them and send them all together to the TAME State Office). Students will be able to register only after the Adult Sponsor registers the TAME Club.
Registration for the 2020 STEM Competition season: We encourage TAME Clubs to bring new members to their meetings throughout the year. Any student who wants to participate in the 2020 STEM Competition season must be in grades 6-12 and must be registered by the November deadlines.
Don't see your TAME Club listed?
Don’t see your location or the name of your school or organization? DO NOT choose another Club or Sponsor, as it might cause problems.
The two most common reasons you may not see your club listed:
- Is your TAME Club registered yet? Talk to your Club Sponsor and make sure they have registered the TAME Club first. You will not be able to register as a student until your club is registered.
- Are you looking under the right city? Check the Club Location to see if it is listed under the name of a nearby town or suburb. For example, you might think of your TAME Club as being in Houston, but did you know Houston is made up of more than 150 cities, towns, and suburbs? When in doubt, look up the address of your school or the place where your TAME Club meets, and look for the name of that city.
*DEADLINE for ALL printable forms: 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2019
