That’s a wrap!
After a fantastic – and fast-paced – competition season, it’s time to celebrate the amazing efforts of TAME students and volunteers at the 2023 TAME Engineering Competitions, held across the state over the last several weeks.
In total, nearly 1,000 students from 101 TAME Clubs participated in 14 competitions across Texas.
Thank you to all our TAME Chapter Leaders, Competition Coordinators, and other volunteers who worked so hard to plan and implement the TAME Engineering Competitions!
Students at each TAME Engineering Competition were divided into teams and then worked together to respond to the design challenge. All year long in TAME Clubs, students have been learning about water, water purification, and the important role of engineers in helping the world access clean water. TAME Engineering Competitions took this learning one step further, challenging students to find the best way to transport water to where it’s needed most.
The 5Cs of TAME’s engineering mindset were fully on display at this year’s competitions!
It was incredible to see the curiosity, creativity, and collaboration of the more than 190 teams working together, each contributing their gifts to the project and sharing their commitment to the team and to the project.
