(Austin, TX) The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering is pleased to announce the winners of the 1st annual Hashtag Contest for the 2019 TAME State STEM Competition, presented by ConocoPhilips on April 27th in the Houston area. TAME students across Texas submitted hashtag concepts, impressing judges with creativity and hard work.
Congratulations to Laura Thompson of The Science and Engineering Magnet at Townview Center for winning first place in this contest! The top scoring student receives a special invitation to the State STEM Competition. At State Ms. Thompson will awarded a $100 prize onstage. Her hashtags will be featured at the State STEM Competition on the giveaways that will be distributed to hundreds of participants.
