The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering (TAME) is delighted to welcome four new leaders to our Board of Directors.
These professionals bring a broad range of professional experience and technical expertise that will support TAME to deliver high-quality engineering education programs and support our network of TAME Regions and Clubs.

Dr. Sabeeta Bidasie-Singh
Dr. Sabeeta Bidasie-Singh is the Business Equity Director for Port Houston, one of the largest global shipping ports. Sabeeta is responsible for the implementation and administration of supplier diversity, equity, and training/capacity building programs.
Over her 25-year career, Sabeeta has crossed over multiple industries and various leadership roles, including international experience across Asia, Australia and the Caribbean. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Data Management Technology, an MBA in International Business, as well as other professional credentials.
A native of the Caribbean Island of Trinidad and Tobago, Sabeeta found home in Houston and continues to serve and give back. She is passionate about removing barriers and creating greater access for underserved communities. She has volunteered with the Rohingya refugee tribes in Asia as well as worked to build the women in STEM program for IBM across rural Malaysia.
Dr. Maxine Madison
Dr. Maxine J. Madison earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University in 2002, and in 2007 she became the first Black female PhD chemical engineering candidate to graduate from Texas A&M University.
Maxine joined ConocoPhillips in 2006 as a Biofuels Research Engineer and over her 17-year career has worked on teams ranging from Heavy Oil Technology to Environmental Technology. She is currently the Climate Risk Advisor for the Corporate Sustainable Development team where she is responsible for managing and setting global emissions targets for the company and analyzing the emissions of the global business units for public reporting.
In 2020 and 2021, Maxine was featured in Houston Public Media’s “Math in a Flash” videos, a series of fun, educational math videos for children ages 7 to 9.
Maxine holds five U.S. patents, has co-authored four academic research papers, and has published a devotional book, Miracles in the Making. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Dr. Dee Miller
Dr. Dee Miller is a data-informed strategist, researcher, and influencer and the Principal Consultant of Dawn Specialty Consulting, LLC. She has more than 13 years of experience in product strategy, community-based design, inclusive research, and systems engineering.
Dr. Dee is a 2023 Aspen Institute First Mover Fellow, participating in a global platform for “corporate social intrapreneurs” that seeks to advance business value and social and environmental impact.
As an independent consultant, Dr. Dee provides training and coaching and advocates for community-based design to address complex social problems and eliminate social disparities. Dr. Dee is known for her unique ability to help organizations improve their engagement with communities of traditionally underserved or underrepresented populations.
Dr. Dee holds multiple higher education degrees, including an M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial & Systems Engineering specializing in Health Systems Engineering and Human Computer Interaction from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Robert Scarbrough
Robert Scarbrough is a Sr. Manager for PwC. He has 20 years of health care leadership experience, specializing in IT infrastructure and operations, technology governance and program management. Over the last 13 years, Robert has focused on M&A integrations with health care organizations.
Robert holds an MBA degree from Webster University and certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
