The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering (TAME) is proud to announce the recipients of our 2025 TAME Scholarships
Every year, TAME awards scholarships to TAME Club Members who are high school seniors with plans to attend an accredited college or university to study engineering or another STEM subject. TAME Scholarship recipients exemplify the 5Cs of the TAME Engineering Mindset: Curiosity, Creativity, Collaboration, Commitment, and Contribution. We’re so proud of all these scholars have accomplished and wish them well as they start the next chapter of their education!
Looking Beyond the GPA, SAT/ACT
Unlike traditional academic scholarships, TAME Scholarship awards are not based on a student’s GPA or scores on the college entrance SAT and ACT exams. Rather, TAME scholarships are awarded based on factors including anticipated college major, years of TAME involvement, student essays and club leader recommendations.
STEM Scholarships Made Possible with Your Support
Here’s what the support means to one TAME Scholar:
“When I apply to college, I don’t just see a means of getting an education. I see a resource that will help facilitate a future where I will not have to struggle like my parents have. Most of all, I see a future where I can use my success to create better opportunities for people in low-income communities like my own.”
