On Friday, January 24, 2025, 87 middle and high school students from the Lubbock Region came together for the 2025 TAME Regional Engineering Competition!
The day flew by as teams of TAME Engineers worked together to design creative solutions to ensure their survival on a remote island by developing a plan to grow food and building a channel that transported water to their gardens. The Regional Competition theme is based on TAME’s 2024-25 curriculum and aligns with global goal for zero hunger, outlined by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
- – The top scoring teams were recognized at the event.
- – Engineering Mindset Awards honored students who exemplified TAME’s 5Cs of engineering (Curious, Creative, Collaborative, Committed, Contributive).
- – TAME’s Senior Awards were given the students and graduating seniors that have been most committed to learning through TAME’s programs.
