Invite a STEM Professional to Visit Your Classroom

“If you can see it, you can become it.” Role models can make a huge impact on students as they consider their future options. TAME can connect you and your students with STEM professionals from a variety of backgrounds and fields. Not only can these individuals answer practical questions such as “what is it like to work at NASA?” and “what classes should I take in college to become a biomedical engineer?” but they can also share personal stories that may inspire students and set them on the path to success.

Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering (TAME) volunteers are typically able to commit to visiting one grade per visit. With limited volunteer time and resources, TAME wants to ensure as many schools as possible are accommodated.
