The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering (TAME) is pleased to announce that partner Whataburger has generously sponsored three of TAME’s 2020 Divisional STEM Competitions to empower Texas students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math. Whataburger sponsored all three competitions with donations of bags and coupons, along with financial support for the San Antonio STEM Competition, snacks at the Capital Area STEM Competition, and lunch at the Corpus Christi STEM Competition. TAME is grateful to Whataburger for helping to build a STEM workforce that looks like Texas.
“My 8th graders were all smiles as they waited to bring in the food that Whataburger donated!” wrote the Corpus Christi Chapter Chair, Dr. Cynthia Hopkins. “Students from different schools learning how to work together to win the engineering event and BIG SMILES!”
