(Austin, TX) The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering is pleased to announce the winner of the T-Shirt Design Contest for the organization’s 30th annual State Math & Science Competition (now known as STEM competitions).
Congratulations to Shubhanga Ballal of TAME’s Capital Area Chapter! Mr. Ballal will receive his $100 prize at the State Competition on May 2nd at Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas. His design will be unveiled on the day of the event, where it will be featured on the cover of the programs, displays, and t-shirts worn by over 400 competitors, staff, and volunteers.
The annual TAME State STEM Competition brings together hundreds of high-performing students, grades 6-12, to challenge their science and math skills and connect with a network of peers and mentors across Texas and beyond. Students qualify for invitations to this event by being active members of a registered TAME Club, and by competing in Divisional Competitions across Texas in the spring semester each year.
All TAME competitions are free to students, parents, and teachers. Learn more about what you can do to ensure our programs remain free for generations to come.
