TAME Scholarship applications are due Monday, June 8th!
All TAME club members heading off to college in a STEM field can win scholarships set aside just for them. Applications are due in less than a week, so urge your students to apply by Monday, June 8th!
Students submit one application to be considered for all applicable scholarships. The TAME Scholarship selection committee will review all applications and make final recommendations on the following awards:
- Alcoa Foundation ($2,000/award, Wichita Falls students only)
- ConocoPhillips ($2,000/award, accounting, computer science, engineering, or math majors only)
- Pratt & Whitney ($2,000/award, Wichita Falls students only)
- Texas Tech University ($2,000/award, engineering majors only)
- The University of Texas at Austin ($1,500/award, engineering majors only)
- Texas A&M University ($500/award, engineering majors only)
- Students will also be considered for TAME scholarships offered by Prairie View A&M University and the University of Houston.
Who Can Apply for TAME Scholarships? When is the Deadline?
Applicants for current TAME 2015 Scholarships must:
- Regularly participate in a registered TAME club
- Be currently enrolled in high school and scheduled to graduate at the end of the current academic year
- Have competed in the TAME STEM Competition any year of their high school career
- Plan to attend an accredited college or university and have a declared major in science or engineering
- Be in good academic standing
- Have taken either the SAT or the ACT
DEADLINE: Applications and all supporting documentation including letters of recommendation must be received by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, June 8th 2015.
