“As a former TAME student who went on to receive two engineering degrees, I am PASSIONATE about the TAME mission. One of my primary reasons for entering the education field was to create partnerships that would make STEM careers more accessible to those who remain underrepresented in STEM.”

TAME is pleased to celebrate World Teachers Day by introducing Astra Zeno, the newest Teacher Representative on the TAME Board. Astra is a TAME alumna and engineer who now teaches at Young Women’s College Preparatory Academy in Houston. Her students at the YWCPA sent the excellent math pun thank-you card pictured here to TAME donors who supported the school last year, in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.
