Somewhere in the Texas Panhandle, there’s a student who wants to be the first woman on Mars. Somewhere on the Gulf Coast, there’s a child who really loves bugs. Somewhere in the Valley, there’s a kid who dreams in pixels.
The TAME Traiblazers connect students like these to STEM concepts and real-life educational and career tracks. Every year, our science-museums-on-wheels travel more than 20,000 miles, delivering hands-on STEM excitement and inspiration to over 20,000 kids in communities across Texas.
Where will the Trailblazers travel next? You can help decide! Boeing recently awarded funding to help Texas schools invest in their community by hosting a Family STEM Event. Applications for this unique mini-grant opportunity are now open, and we invite you to apply before the deadline of 5pm on Friday, April 15th, 2016.
The application and supporting documents offer detailed information about Family STEM Events and how you can make yours a huge success. If you are awarded one of the mini-grants, you would receive up to a $750 reimbursement for event-related expenses, a free Trailblazer visit, and access to materials and assistance from our resources in the State office.

The Trailblazers don’t just show kids the moon—they show them how to get there. With your help, we can give all of these Texas students the gift of inspiration and show them a way to a great future.
