The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering is pleased to announce the winners of the 2nd annual Creative Design Contest for TAME’s 2021 virtual State STEM Competition, presented by ConocoPhillips on Whova and Zoom. This event combines our 17th annual T-Shirt Design Contest and our 3rd annual Hashtag Contest, inviting TAME students across Texas to submit original artwork & hashtag concepts on the theme: “Explore the Possibilities.”
Congratulations to our Artwork Prize Winner, Eunsuh Jasmine Cho of McNeil High School in the Capital Area Chapter and our Hashtag Prize Winner, Christina Ko, who is also from McNeil High School in the Capital Area Chapter! We are proud to highlight the ongoing hard work and perseverance of this year’s artwork winner: Ms. Cho took first place in last year’s contest, and was a finalist in the 2019 contest as well.
The two winning students will receive a special invitation to the State STEM Competition. At State Ms. Cho and Ms. Ko will be awarded their $100 prizes and recognized during the presentation. Ms. Ko’s hashtag #ChargedCuriosity and Ms. Cho’s artwork will be unveiled on social media before the event. Both creative concepts will be featured at the State STEM Competition on the shirts that will be mailed to hundreds of participants.
Congratulations to the students who placed in the contest, and many thanks to all the creative minds who contributed!
