The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering is pleased to announce the winners of the 1st annual Creative Design Contest for the 2020 TAME State STEM Competition, presented by ConocoPhillips on April 25th in the Houston area. This event combines our 16th annual T-Shirt Design Contest and our 2nd annual Hashtag Contest, inviting TAME students across Texas to submit original artwork & hashtag concepts on the theme: “Energy.Power.Progress.”
Congratulations to our Artwork Prize Winner, Eunsuh “Jasmine” Cho of McNeil High School in the Capital Area Chapter and our Hashtag Prize Winner, Eduardo Cisneros of Lewisville High School in the Dallas Chapter! The two winning students will receive a special invitation to the State STEM Competition. At State Ms. Cho and Mr. Cisneros will be awarded their $100 prizes onstage. Mr. Cisneros’ hashtag #WattsUpSTEM will be used on social media before the event; Ms. Cho’s artwork will be unveiled on the day of the event. Both creative concepts will be featured at the State STEM Competition on the shirts and giveaways that will be distributed to hundreds of participants.
Congratulations to the students who placed in the contest, and many thanks to all the creative participants!
