FAQs

Held each spring, the Statewide Math & Science Competition brings together hundreds of middle and high school students from TAME chapters.  Students & chaperones arrive in the competition city on Friday evening to attend the welcome party and are provided with overnight lodging.  On Saturday, they attend the all-day competition at the competition site.  Students compete in 21 areas of math and science. Students also compete as part of a team to solve a hands-on engineering challenge.  In addition to testing student knowledge and understanding of math and science concepts, the competition promotes team building, leadership, and academic achievement.
