This
year's theme is:
"Engineering
Has No Boundaries"

You can choose either a gift card to one of the
following:
Barns and Noble or Discovery Channel Store
OR
a U.S. Savings Bond that will mature to
double the value of the gift cards!
1st Place: $150 gift card (or US Savings bond for
$300)
2nd Place: $100 gift card (or US Savings bond for
$200)
3rd Place: $50 gift card (or US Savings bond for
$100)
4th Place: $25 gift card (or US Savings bond for $50)

Poster Contest Winners
The TAME
Statewide Elementary Poster Contest is open to all 4th and 5th
grade students whose school has been invited to participate.

Entries
must be mailed or delivered to the
TAME State Office and
postmarked by April 1 , 2005

Elementary
School Poster Contest Rules
|
|
The
contest is open to all 4th and 5th grade students whose school
has been invited to participate. A
flyer is sent/given to invited schools. If you are not
sure whether your school has been invited, please call the TAME
office at (512) 471-6100. |

|
All
Posters must have an Official Entry Label
attached to the
back. Prizes can not be awarded without complete student information. |
|
|
The
poster must include the
exact theme in letters at least 1" high, and
artwork should support the theme. |
|
|
No
group projects allowed - must be the work of an individual. |
|
|
Social security number
and home address MUST be provided upon request for all winners or a savings bond cannot be issued.
|
|
|
The
student or school name can not be on the front of the poster. |
|
|
Use only a standard size
(22" x 28") white poster board. |
|
|
Poster
board edges shall not be altered in any way. |
|
|
Inks,
paints, watercolors, colored pencils and chalks may be used.
The selection and combination is up to the student. |
|
|
No
black and white work - the poster must have color. |
|
|
No
magazine, newspaper, computer generated drawings, or other cutouts
are allowed. |
|
|
Lettering
Sizes: 1" minimum! No stick-on lettering allowed
and all words must be spelled
correctly. |
