The following items MUST be submitted with this signed application:

1. Your high school transcript (including fall semester)
2. One letter of recommendation written by a math or science teacher or a responsible person in the community who knows you well and can attest to your personal qualities and abilities. This letter should not be written by a family member or casual acquaintance.
3. A typed essay of 250 words or less explaining why you deserve this scholarship, including a statement addressing any financial need.  Please make sure your name is on your essay.

   Your application is not complete unless it contains each of the following:

   Completed and signed application

   Your high school transcript (including the fall semester)

   One letter of recommendation

   Your typed essay

   Once you have all necessary application items completed, clip together all of your application materials and submit them to the Alliance Chair (or other designated volunteer).  To be considered for a scholarship, your materials must be in their hands no later than April 25, 2008.
