Engineers Design a Better World

Engineers contribute a lot for the citizens living on this planet we call Earth, and they are still trying to make things better.  To show how much engineers have helped, I’ve made a poster about what I think they have done to improve everything in the world.  My poster has two different pictures.  The first one is an intersection where there has been a car accident because the lights are messed up and broken.  The second picture is what I think transportation might look like in the future.  In the future, I think there will be tubes that have floating subway-like cars that go through them.  They will have a sensor to locate any other cars that might be near to eliminate the risk of accidents.

To me this subject is important because most teenage deaths are caused by car accidents.  Engineers can lower this risk if transportation is improved or replaced.  Improving traffic is very important to me because my friend was killed last year when he didn’t see a stop sign and was hit by a car and thrown off his motorcycle.  My cousin also had a very bad accident and was almost killed because a lady swerved into her lane to avoid a dog.  Engineers can improve transportation in the future by designing a new way to get around like the picture on my poster so no one else is killed in a car accident.

A lot of things have been improved since the 1800’s and engineers have done it all.  Engineers can and will design a better future which will resolve into a more advanced world.  A more advanced world would help humans and animals alike.  Engineers will save more lives by advancing everything especially transportation.
