Engineers Design a Better World

Where would we be without engineers? Still in a cave most likely.  Engineers have played a huge role in bringing human society where we are today and where we’ll be tomorrow.

Engineers have virtually sculpted our way of life.  They design buildings, transportation, tools and more, making life easier.  Furthermore, they are responsible for the improvements of such designs.  This is the focus of my poster.  It depicts an engineer unrolling a blue print design of improving the world.  An example of one of the improvements shown in the blueprint is the automobile.  Under the vehicle is written ‘fuel cell run (gas-free)’ showing the improvements being applied to our modern day cars.  Engineers also keep us safe making sure buildings are secure.  The picture of the building with ‘fire proof’ written under it demonstrates this.  The blueprint exhibits the design plan engineers make.  The world in the center of the blueprint symbolizes that engineers have and continue to design our world.  The fact that I included a pair of hands in my poster reveals that the design of our world is in the hands of engineers.  The blueprint and hands spread out signify that engineers are prepared to achieve this endeavor of a better world.  In addition, the hands embody the determination of designing a better world.

Engineers have and continue to design a better world.  My poster identifies precisely how engineers fortify our world.  They have brought us so far, but it’s just the beginning.
